Product description

The 2026 1oz Silver Krugerrand brings one of the world's most recognised coin designs into pure silver. Struck by the South African Mint in partnership with Rand Refinery, each coin holds one troy ounce of 99.9% silver and carries the same imagery that first appeared on the Gold Krugerrand in 1967.

The reverse displays the Springbok antelope, South Africa's national symbol, framed by the year of minting, the silver weight and the coin's face value. The obverse bears the portrait of Paul Kruger, State President of the South African Republic, with the country name shown in both Afrikaans and English. The name itself joins Kruger's likeness with the Rand, the South African currency that takes its name from the gold reefs of the Witwatersrand.

Rand Refinery has operated near Johannesburg since opening in 1921 and stands among the most respected names in precious metals, having refined over 50,000 tonnes of gold across its history. The same expertise behind the legendary Gold Krugerrand sits behind its silver counterpart.

Every coin is struck in 0.999 fine silver to a consistent one ounce weight, measuring 38.7 mm across and 2.84 mm thick. As fine metal of 99.9% purity, the Silver Krugerrand is supplied free of GST in New Zealand.

Single coins arrive in protective flips. Orders in multiples of 25 are dispatched in sealed Rand Refinery mint tubes, and quantities of 500 ship in a monster box.

A very cool coin. It is very different from the British sovereign, or US dollar. I love all the designs. Impressive delivery time.

Always great dealing with Pure Bullion. Very fast at sending purchases out and always well packaged

Easy and well managed.. only comment is: receiving bullion in the open plan office is a bit strange (perhaps a private room?) anybody could walk in as the exchange is being made. Otherwise great

Love the coin, the service and the speed in which it was delivered.

My one criticism would be the courier service - this was sent as a "signature required" as you would expect for such a purchase.
However, the NZ Post courier driver signed for this himself and left it on my front doorstep!
My wife was home but not even a knock on the door.
I would suggest reviewing your courier service if this is the sort of service they offer.
As far as I am concerned if it is a "signature required" delivery it is sent as such for security reasons and therefore should be signed for by a member of the household or business.
I cant imagine had it been taken or a much more expensive purchase gone missing how NZ Post could justify one of their drivers signing for it. I assume as soon as it is signed and dumped on my doorstep it then becomes my responsibility and not that of the courier company!
I will purchase again although likely collect my next purchase but I feel for those they may not be able to use the collection option.

Easiest purchase of silver I have ever done. As a small investor it suits me to be able to buy just a single coin rather than a minimum purchase of maybe 20 coins that some dealers require.
Very pleased.
