How the finder works

The finder narrows our current range in three steps. First the metal: gold, silver, platinum, copper or titanium. Then the form: a bar, a coin or a round. Last, a purchase range in NZ dollars. Matching pieces are priced live against spot, so the figure you see reflects the market at the time you look.

Bars, coins and rounds

Bars carry the most metal for the money and suit anyone who wants weight in a simple form. Coins are struck by government mints, carry a face value and are recognised almost anywhere. Not sure where to start?
